*Kiara's essay is about an article we read in class called "The Calls of the Wild". The article describes how a man named Jeff Rice is creating an animal sounds library in which he is recording sounds of animals in the western part of the United States.

My name is Kiara. I live in a small town in Alaska. I know animal sounds for animals in Tok. People in a city don’t know the animal sounds I do. I think an animal sounds library is a good idea.

A animal sound library is with animal sounds in a library. Example – what if I was Jeff Rice and I owned the library and I put animal sounds in it. That is a animal sound library. He records different animal sounds.

It could teach people about animals. He is recording scientists who can tell about the animals. If people are hunting they could know what animals sound like. Park rangers and guides should now the animal sounds.
